This was a really daunting project. The shear scale of this plane is overwhelming. I do not have photos of the plane due to privacy issues with the owner, but it going to be 22 feet wingspan and about 250 pounds when it's done. The gear seen here was for the prototype and is made out of 6160 aliminum with a steel ram and spring. It was constructed without the retract mechanism which I hope I get to make one day.
